Trefarclawdd Farm in Shropshire is attempting to double its operations. The two additional sheds would take the farm's capacity from 500 cows to 1,000. This is an industrial-scale expansion of the dairy industry, and one we need to stop together.

If this application was accepted, it would mean hundreds more cows trapped in a system defined by repeated cycles of forced impregnation, birth, and separation from their calves before being sent to slaughter once their bodies are worn out. We must act right now. The objection window closes on August 18.

• Community impact: Noise, smell, and the visual impact of sheds and lagoons will affect residents' quality of life and the rural character of the area.
