We need Starbucks to act. As one of the UK’s largest coffee chains, with over 1,200 stores sourcing milk from Arla farms – where we’ve already exposed systemic cruelty – Starbucks has the power to set a new standard and spark change across the entire food and beverage industry.
We need to get Starbucks to take action and to reply to our Open Letter. Not tomorrow, not in a month’s time, but right now! Can you give them a nudge by dropping our comments on their social media platforms?
The more comments we leave, the more pressure they will feel and the more awareness we will raise. So, together, let’s make some noise!
Let’s Keep the Pressure on
Following the release of our petition and relentless campaign efforts, Starbucks has refused to engage with us beyond an initial comment on our Lowfields investigation release. But we have no doubt they are watching and listening, we have no doubt they are discussing our campaign in board rooms and at an executive level.
We released our Open Letter, which is backed by sustainability experts, animal rights organisations, health professionals, business leaders, academics and celebrities all demanding that Starbucks pilot oat as the default in one store before scaling strategically. However, despite this coalition of powerful voices, Starbucks are still taking their time to respond.
Our Open Letter is an effort to break the silence and to get Starbucks acting. With your help online, we are sure to get things moving. So don’t forget to drop our comments.
As always,
For the animals!
