Biblo’s in Bristol has proudly become the fourth business to trial oat milk as default as part of our Udderly Kind campaign.

Biblos has built a loyal following in Bristol for its Middle Eastern and Caribbean-inspired flatbreads, and it's exactly the kind of independent, community-minded business we love working with. Run by university friends Ariel and Will, the eatery already has a strong line-up of vegan options on the menu so when we reached out about trialling oat milk as default, they were straight on board.

Ariel said:

"I'm committed to alternative milks, and oat is the best one by far [...] people just need a gentle push to move away from cow's milk, and if businesses do it as standard, customers will say 'no problem!' and they'll at least try it. It's a very good campaign."

The Momentum is Building

It's such a simple switch, but four cafés in, you can really feel this campaign picking up speed. This is no longer a one-off experiment; it's becoming a genuine trend, and cafés like Biblos are leading the way. One café said yes, then another, then another, and now it's snowballing. We have many more updates to share with you soon. 

Cafés like Biblos are certainly showing that it's safe for businesses to try new things, get creative in promoting plant milks, and make positive change. They're proving that customers are open-minded about oat milk when it's simply presented as the option. Plus, our collaboration with Minor Figures means cafés trialling the switch are backed by a reputable brand through oat milk stock and partnership support. We've got more trials to come, and with the help of Minor Figures, we're making oat milk the new normal in the UK.
