As part of our free-range egg investigation, we investigated three farms in Lincolnshire and Rutland, owned by the family BFREPA Director, Lucy Hinch. They supply eggs through LJ Fairburn who stock supermarket giants Aldi, Asda, Co-op and Costco.

Cage-free Exposed 2024: Sherriff's Wood Eggs

In our investigation into free-range farms we found terrible conditions at Sherriff’s Wood Eggs, in Wales, is this 'family farm' of BFREPA Director, Pauline Jones. They supply eggs directly to Stonegate, a major supplier of own-label eggs to the likes of Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Ocado.

Cage-free Exposed 2024: Harper Farm

Harper Farm, in Leeds, is owned by BFREPA Director, Jack Stephenson and was one of the farms investigated in our cage-free exposé. They supply eggs directly to Sainsbury’s and to James Potter Eggs who supply eggs to Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda and Co-op. What we uncovered was nothing short of a nightmare.
