We have an important update to share, and it marks an important step-forward in this campaign. We have now made contact with the farm’s lawyers and have been formally advised that our sanctuary proposal, alongside others, is currently under active consideration. This confirms that alternatives to the cows being kept in the industry, and ultimately sent to slaughter, are not only being discussed but are being reviewed.

A Time-Sensitive Opportunity

The closure of Blanc Pignon Dairy Farm has created a rare and time-sensitive opportunity. With the farm no longer operating, there is a narrow window in which the future of the Jersey 51 can be determined. 

Within that window lies the possibility of confirmed sanctuary placements at Hillside Animal Sanctuary — a safe, permanent home where these animals would be protected for life. The sanctuary spaces are real. The offer is serious. The logistics have been carefully considered. What remains is the decision itself.

This Is Not the Moment to Step Back

The farm needs to know that people are watching, and that there is strong support for a compassionate outcome. Almost 15,000 people have already signed our petition. But until the decision is confirmed, the outcome is not guaranteed. This is not the time to slow down. It is the time to remain focused, vocal, and united. Every message, every share, every show of support reinforces that there is a kinder alternative available and that it matters deeply to so many.
