Less than 48 hours after we exposed the horrors inside Northmoor Farm, Cranswick plc’s market value has plummeted by nearly £300 million. Their share prices dropped as much as 9% in a single day – its steepest fall since March 2020 – wiping out over a year of growth and profits for the company. This is a HUGE win for pigs!
It is a direct consequence of your support for our investigative work that has enabled us to jointly drive forward the change that is desperately needed to protect our fellow animals.
The Animal Justice Project footage revealed illegal piglet ‘thumping’, widespread suffering, pigs being beaten by staff, and botched killings. As a result, major supermarkets – including Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Asda and Morrisons – have suspended supply from the farm. Red Tractor has also suspended their accreditation, and authorities are investigating our findings. Cranswick plc and its CEO, Adam Couch, are being held to account and it’s all thanks to you.
But this is only the beginning.
We must keep going – until no pig suffers again. Your donations power our investigations. Your voice drives change. Your action creates justice for pigs.
Together, we will shape a world where animals are no longer exploited, and build a future where everyone is treated fairly.
As always,
For the animals.
