If you are on our mailing list or follow Animal Justice Project on social media, you will have seen our big push to get our petition on Change.org up to 75,000 signatures by January 31.

The petition calls on the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) to prosecute Gressingham Foods following clear law breaking during Animal Justice Project’s undercover investigation in their slaughterhouse in 2020. Despite blatant breaches of legislation, the CPS has stated that taking forward legal action would “not be in the public interest”. Gressingham Foods broke the law and are getting away with it.
